Smooth and Relax Muscles of the Face & Neck

Discover Botulinum toxin (Botox® & Dysport®) for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles

Botox® & Dysport®

Injectable Neurotoxin

Botulinum toxin (name brand Botox® & Dysport®) is a popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure that works by relaxing specific muscles of the face and neck, reducing the  appearance of wrinkles in those areas. This treatment typically results in smoother, more youthful-looking skin and can take years off of your appearance.

Procedure Overview

During the procedure, one of our highly skilled practitioners injects a small amount of Botox® & Dysport® into targeted muscles around the face and/or neck. Which muscles are injected depends on your individual needs and concerns. This procedure is quick and virtually painless, with minimal downtime. Results typically last 3-4 months but vary depending on dosing and individual anatomy.

Botulinum toxin is effective in treating:

  • Forehead lines and “11’s” between the brows

  • Crow's feet around the eyes

  • Bunny lines on the bridge of the nose

  • Lip lines (smoker's lines)

  • Chin dimpling

  • Downturned smile

  • Enlarged/hyperactive masseters causing clenching and grinding

  • Jawline contouring

  • Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Botulinum Toxin treatments typically cause little-to-no pain as the needles used for injection are tiny. In fact, the pain is so minimal, we do not even numb for these procedures.

  • Results vary depending on the individual, how frequently someone is treated, and what products are used. It is typical to start seeing results as early as 4-5 days but can take up to two weeks for the Botulinum Toxin to fully settle.

  • How long Botulinum Toxin lasts in a particular muscle depends on several factors including how often an individual is treated, how many units were used during a treatment (higher unit dosing means longer duration), how strong an individual’s muscles are, and other variables. It is common, however, to see a standard facial treatment last on average 3-4 months.

  • Cost will depend entirely on how many units are used during a particular treatment. This is extremely individualized based on the patient’s anatomy, goals, and budget. We charge $13/unit of Botox® or Dysport® equivalent. It is not uncommon for an upper face treatment to require anywhere from 36-64 units.
