HA Filler

Rehydrating and Revolumizing Treatment

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance found throughout our bodies especially in our skin, joints, and eyes. HA fillers were created to mimic this substance and have become one of the most popular non-surgical options for facial contouring, restoring volume, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. HA fillers also increase the hydration in the skin, creating a more healthy and glowing complexion.

Procedure Overview

During a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler treatment, one of our expert practitioners injects this gel-like substance beneath the skin into targeted areas of the face to create contour and restore structure. We specialize in natural-looking results by restoring volume in specific areas without overfilling the face. This procedure has minimal discomfort although certain areas (especially the lips) may require some pre-treatment numbing. The results are immediate with little-to-no downtime and only improve as the product integrates over the following weeks.

Hyaluronic Acid Filler is effective in:

  • Restoring hollows of the temples

  • Replacing lost volume in the cheeks and midface

  • Filling the under-eye hollow that often result in a tired appearance

  • Creating a more prominent chin and jawline

  • Smoothing out nasolabial folds (smile lines)

  • Softening marionette lines (lines around the mouth)

  • Augmenting lips for fuller, natural-looking results

Frequently Asked Questions

  • HA filler injections are not typically painful as the product itself contains lidocaine, a numbing agent. Certain areas of the face are more sensitive, such as lips, and do require additional numbing. Rest assured appointments are scheduled with enough time to allow you to numb properly before your procedure. Most other areas of the face do not require any sort of numbing prior to injection and are generally considered quite tolerable.

  • Results with HA filler are immediate, however, we do recommend waiting two weeks to allow for the swelling to subside and the product to integrate into the tissue to see a final result.

  • How long filler lasts beneath the skin depends on many factors including the product used, how dynamic the area is, and how quickly one’s own body breaks it down. Depending on the product used, It is not uncommon for filler to last anywhere from 9-18 months or longer.

  • Cost will depend entirely on what the patient’s goals are and how much volume needs to be restored. A typical syringe can cost anywhere from $700-$860, but this can be significantly reduced if the syringes are purchased as part of a full-face package.
