Facial, Injectable, and Hair Restoration Treatments
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is considered a natural approach to skin healing and rejuvenation. By taking a sample of your blood, we can harness your body’s own healing properties to stimulate collagen and elastin production for a more youthful appearance.
Procedure Overview
The PRP procedure involves drawing a small sample of your blood, spinning it down to concentrate your platelets, and then either applying onto or reinjecting it into the skin. PRP is a safe and minimally invasive option for enhancing beauty and overall well-being.
PRP is effective in:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Dull, uneven skin tone
Loss of skin elasticity
Dark undereye circles
Hair loss

Other medications/supplements can thin your blood and increase your risk of bruising. These medications include, Fish oil, Ginko Biloba, Garlic, Ginseng, Vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, as well as others. These medications should be avoided 14 DAYS PRIOR to your procedure if possible.
Other blood thinners and antiplatelet medications will also thin your blood but should NOT be stopped without discussing it with your doctor first.

-
Please continue to stay hydrated, drinking at least 64 oz of fluids, for several days following your treatment
Redness, swelling, tenderness, and pinpoint bleeding can all be normal following the procedure. You may feel slightly sunburned.
For most people, your skin will completely recover within 5-7 days. Your body’s collagen production usually takes about 4-8 weeks, so you will continue to see improvements over this time.
You may elect to ice the area post treatment but must do so very carefully. Use an ice pack with the fabric side against the skin or wrap a soft plastic ice pack in a wet thin towel. Apply the ice pack approximately 30 seconds on, and 30 seconds off. Icing too vigorously can cause frostbite and scarring. You may apply a cold compress to the area for 20 minutes per hour, and you may do this hourly for up to 3 days.

One of the purposes of PRP is to induce inflammation and these medications limit or prevent inflammation. You may take Tylenol® or other Acetaminophen-containing products as directed.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The only discomfort with PRP facials is related to the microneedling process. It’s considered pretty comfortable as we numb before the procedure. Injected PRP does tend to burn a bit more but typically only lasts 15-30 minutes. Overall this is considered a very tolerable procedure.
-
Results with PRP are usually gradual. For a PRP facial you can start to see improvements in skin quality within 2-3 weeks. With injectable and hair restoration it could take 2-3 months to see results and sometimes longer.
-
Results will vary depending on the individual and the type of procedure performed. It is not unusual for PRP facial results to last several weeks-to-months depending on how well you care for your skin in the interim. Injectable PRP can last a year or more but again, really varies by the individual.
-
PRP facials run $600/session and are often done as part of a series of 3 treatments.
Injected PRP varies depending on what areas are being treated and if other treatments are used such as RF microneedling or hyaluronic acid filler.
PRP Hair restoration is $600/session as part of a series of 3 sessions.
